help anyone w/ an old hollanders 45-50

    i need to know fast if a pinion yoke will interchange from a 46 olds to a 47.....thanks

    according to my Oldsmobile factory parts manual
    part # 504740 flange,universal joint (axle end) is the same for 1940 through 1947.

    1949 Chilton flat rate says same flange 1941-1947 all series ...1948 is different.

    see i found a nos one and it says it is for 47-50ish....but looks dead on to mine......i just need to know for sure on buying the new one that it is right

    you might be able to make that one work,if you can't find anything else.
    have you removed the old one yet? :confused:
    it might just need a spacer or something to make it work.
