What did you stop for??!!??
hellonwheels ... great build thread! ... glad I finally opened it ... every time it came back to page one, I had (terrible) visions of some guy building a '36 3wd wheelstander with tank tracks :
Thanks for sharing it's going be a killer ride
Wow!! After watching this thread, I do believe there will be more people owning '36 three windows than the Ford motor company ever produced.
MJ amazing work, great to see you at the round up I need to get back down there to see it in person.
Really nice work, brings back memories (or nightmares it depends). I love detailed build up posts. Keep it up.
I have a friend here in Normandy who's gonna make a 3w 36 out of a French 36 Ford sedan. It seems there's gonna be more 3W now than at the time...
what a bitchin' transformation. fantastic work!
Thanks for the responses! Made a little more progress, nothing too exciting.
After filling the spare tire mount holes:
Been doing hammer and dolly on the coupe back:
I won't show any more of the boring stuff, but it's much better. I'll start with the shrinking disk and more hammer and dolly this weekend.
This week I worked on the driver wheelwell, it needed rust repair and I also wanted to fill the gas filler neck hole, two birds with one stone. No one will ever see it, but I'm a nutjob and I spent entirely too much time on it.
I wanted a factory look, no streetroddy-looking flat surfaces! Like the passenger side with the wide bead:
So I took the bead from the sedan and flipped it over:
Made a template so the body mount hole would be in the correct location, shortened the bead with a flat angle on one end, and started piecing it together:
Still need to final weld and grind this area and finish bodywork this weekend.
This will be subscribed one..
Bloody amazing work!
im really diggin this, and also diggin those skate decks hangin on the wall
Yeah, that's MR. FORD's Zorlac collection, everyone asks about those...
word my friend, word!
WOW...what an awesome build, and what a HUGE undertaking!!! (now I know I'm NOT alone at this!....THANKYOU!!)
What a beautiful job you're doing.
Oh God.....I think I just peed myself!!
