    Here's a comparison picture of a '40 fender and '39 Deluxe fender. The one with more metal in the flange area is the '39.

    Blackwalls, black wheels, keep the '40 standard hub caps and NO trim rings......just my opinion

    I love the 40 Standard grille! I know everyone else gets a woody for the deluxe, but I think the standard is tits! Nice car! :cool:

    1. A Lebaron Bonney repo interior in vinyl roll and pleat
    2. A dropped axle
    3. Moon disc (optional)
    4. 2x2 intake w/new 97's
    5. Isky cam
    6. Finned aluminum heads (your choice of brand)
    7. Install big smile and drive on:D

    That mock up is bitchin'.

    I love moon discs on wide whitewalls. Lately, I've found myself digging full wheelcovers (Stude, Olds Fiesta, even those old Plymouth pointed center ones) on pre-war cars.
