I am Daniel, from NC. I am new to this forum, and wanted to share my new project.

In 1987 when I turned 15 my dad approached me with an idea to find and fix up a car like he had when he was 16! He showed me some pictures of his 53 Chevy Bel-Air 2dr HT. I loved it, so we proceeded to search and found what ended up being my 1st car! Great memories, we fixed it up and I drove it all through high school. Lost interest when I went to college and the car got sold.

FF to 2016, I am 44 and my dad is 69, we just found our new project....a 54 Chevy Bel-Air 2dr HT! Local NC car, all original body, chrome, stainless, complete car! Older 1990s restoration, black lacquer paint, 15x8 Rally Wheels, white letter tires, 12v conversion, 305 SMB, Turbo 350 trans, 1960 rear end gears, tilt wheel.......

    So our new adventure starts!

Welcome to the HAMB. The guys on here are a veritable gold mine of information as well as being, in my estimation, genuinely good people. Once you get used to the subtle (and not so subtle) eccentricities inherent in the organization, you will find it indispensable and often entertaining. And we love us some pictures:D. Sweet ride by the way.

He's very reasonable and has another Quadra jet if this one isn't worth rebuilding....

  14. Welcome and I'll say it's always good to know where you're from.
You may get help from a HAMBER, in your town.
Of course, if you're in the "witness protection program", you may not want to enter your town.

    Sweet!
I am building one now and have another to build when this one is done.
Does it have a Camaro or Nova front suspension?

    Any updates?
Gotta say, I'm not big on the high back buckets. I know they are a lot safer if you get rear ended though. But otherwise, it's a cool looking ride! I'm a bit biased though. I have two of them.
