Howdy!! My name is Jake and I live in Sycamore, IL. I have a 64 Mercury Comet Caliente that I plan on eventually making into an A/FX inspired car. Ive been into cars since I was 15 but didnt get my own, the Comet, until I was 17. Parents werent into cars so I had to learn on my own. Went to my local community college and got my associates in auto technology. So I know my way around a toolbox, but cant compare to the know-how I can learn from you guys!!! Have a little painting experience as I painted hydraulic power units for a few years, so paint something Im eventually gonna do in my garage to the Comet. I am looking forward to meeting some of you at the Meltdown Drags and making a few runs. Awesome place you fellas have here and hopefully I can earn a spot in the fam!
