Hi guys, I am glad to join you and be part of the traditional rod community. My first rod was a UK built GRP ‘29 Model A coupe with a Pinto engine. I used it as my only way of transport for some years, commuting 50 miles each day and traveling abroad. I used that time to learn about traditional rods. One day I met an older gentleman from which I bought a Riley 2 port ohv conversion head. Now I only needed the right car to put it in! I swapped my GRP ‘29 for a bone stock ‘31 coupe. I’ve gathered a “C” engine block with the counterbalanced crankshaft, some 16” wire wheels, Strombergs, a Graham Supercharger and a traditionally dropped I-beam from Joe’s Speedshop. I hope to build a strong traditional rod and that it will travel to many countries.
Welcome/welkom on the HAMB I had a 31 stock coupe for almost 10 years and they are fun to drive. I sold it in 2014 due to unemployment (sh.t) to Eric Bauer in The Hague, who still drives it a lot. More pics of your car are welcome. Groeten Hennie
