I've been lurking around for a couple years now and realized I never posted a intro.

Well my name is Kasey I'm 18 I'm studying to become a mechanical engineer right now. I've grown up around hot rods.

I'm building a 31 ford coupe. I bought the frame a couple of years ago for 75 bucks out in the country. I have a 350 and a t10 I plan on putting in it. A couple weeks ago I drove all the way to Tennessee to pick up a body. (Needs a ton of work)

    Kasey

Yup I know where that is! I almost have my chassis done. It has a 9" with a triangulated 4 link with coil overs. I have a high compression 355 with a pretty big cam. I plan on drag racing it every now and then. I really want to race it at the HAMB drags. I plan on channeling it over the frame and chopping it. Good thing I'm really short.

That is the frame back together after boxing it all in.

The pictures of the body is how I picked it up in Tennessee. I haven't started working on it yet. I will make a build thread when I start working on the body!

Welcome from Ottumwa, Iowa. Good score on the coupe. I was eyeballing it myself, but I found a sport coupe in Kansas. So I went and picked it up a couple weeks ago.

Congrats on the sports coupe! Is it in good condition? I've got to find a new cowl and doors. Mine are alittle too rough.

The subrails, quarters and door posts are in really good condition but no doors, and I need a new cowl and firewall. But its a titled car.

That's awesome it came with a title! Missouri is pretty strict about getting a title. I have to keep a book of all my receipts so I have a paper trail.

Welcome aboard! Appreciate your taste in tin................
I've been around for nearly half a century longer than you and I'm amazed when someone of your age finds the good in the old.

I know you said you've been lurking for awhile, but signing up really brings you into the loop.

Thanks again for enjoying what we love and taking it beyond our time.................

Thanks, I've had a wrench in my hands since I could walk. My dad started all of this. Which is awesome. Yeah I'm glad I found out i forgot to introduce my self. I like meeting people that love cars as much as I do.
