Hey everyone, My name is Will and I live in North Saint Paul, Mn. My family owns a body shop and so I have been around cars my entire life. I am not a bodyman, as my focus has always been more on learning to run the business. I am currently an estimator. But, I do have aspirations to be capable of cutting, welding, fabricating, and straightening. My dad was my main influence in getting me interested in old cars. He started at an early age, and by the time I was in high school we were seeking a father/son project as a learning experience for me. We bought a 72 Chevelle SS 454 my senior year. I didn't know much when we did the restoration. I was probably only good for turning a screw driver, but none the less I learned a lot. Since then I have endlessly tinkered with the car and have become a lot more capable than I use to be. I can now pull a motor, swap intakes, tune a carb, set the timing, read and diagnose wiring issues, and other things that I never would have learned without the project. I am by no means done learning and that is why I am here. I am just finishing the purchase of a 55 Studebaker pickup that has a 53 front clip on it. The truck is a project with no motor, no tranny, and almost no interior. But I look at it as a clean slate to create with. I have attached a couple pics of the truck, as well as a potential vision that I created using my wife's photoshop program. Let me know what you think.
