Hello, Been lurking for a while, finally got around to signing up. Shall keep it short, my name's Matt, I'm 23, Dad to an 8 month old and from Melbourne, Australia. I've been into traditional rods & customs all of my life, mostly due to growing up around them. My main hobby is photography, and I'm currently building a 1963 XL Falcon Station Wagon, which when finished will be off-white with a white gold roof and scallops, several mild custom touches (lowering, a 250ci six in place of the 170ci) but other than that will mostly be a resto' job. Thanks for the welcome guys, I'll start a thread on the Falcon shortly. HOTFR8 - I was thinking of picking up something small and British (a Morris Minor or similiar) and building a gasser out of it and rebuilding and working the 170 to suit. But that's just one of those 'back of the mind whilst I have it sitting there' ideas...
I have a 170 in my 1923 T Roadster with a 5 speed manual box and that is why I asked. Gasser sounds like a good idea perhaps a HAMBster would be a good idea.
