I've always wanted a car/truck to build. After many years of building models. I got my dad to help me build a 1949 ford f-3 (truck cab and front end) that we saved from the scrap yard. Along with a 70's chevy step side box that was shortend and narrowed. All sitting on an s-10 frame that we put together using a 1953 ford truck midsection ( for the cab mounts) also got the frame from the scrap yard. Gotta love those scrap yards. Put in a 1999 s-10 4 wheel drive rear axel with disk brakes. Lowered the front with 2" drop spindles and 4 cyl. springs. Got a rebuilt mild performance ford 302 backed by c-6 trans. Hope to have it done by the time Torque Fest rolls around.
Looks sweet. I got a 1952 f2. Its just now running and ive got lots of body work. Its all original and is taking forever. Keep pics posted id like to keep up. Soon ill have some worthy pics.
