Just wanted to introduce myself to you guys my name is doug im from fort worth texas born and raised here .my father was a hot rodder from way back his first car he told me about was a model t he paid 9 dollars for and took it to my grand dads station and cut every single thing on it that didnt make it run as he said and it he thought it went about 3 miles an hour faster. ive been hooked ever since, he gave me my first harley when i was 14 and chevelle ss not long after that he started taking me to the pate swap meet when i was 4 and ive been every year , went to my fist lone star round up this year and im hooked so hopefully ill have a 30 model roadster soon thanks doug
yeah my dad was a wild man his last hot rod he built he had a 1959 ford truck he bought to run around in and someone came up with a 327 375 horse motor from a corvette and muncie 4 speed so he popped the straight six out and put that in his friend still owned it a few years ago id love to have it now ,but he raced boats ,flat heads and I dont know what all else but he put me on a trail 70 when i was 5 hed hold it up and id take off then when i was done id turn it off and let it fall over but I went to the lopne star round up and it was like finding what was missing ive never wanted something youd be scared to drive I want something I can drive that damn wheels off of and I think the jalopy style is what I need Im looking forward to meeting yall in the future .
