Afghanistan! haven't seen that place sence the 80's. Keep your head down & your butt lower. I am proud of you & your troops. ( is that my dad talking).......... If your guys need anything let us know. I know how importiant it is to keep their spirits up. Shawn
Every time I take my old dumb ass and climb into my Stude I give thanks for all you guys over there making it safe for us that we don't have to dodge suicide bombers at the local hangout. Thank you doesn't come close express my appreciation for what you guys do!
I've eaten a lot of Army chow. Some of it outstanding, most of it good, and a bit almost inedible. You can tell what kind of outfit you are in by the attitude of the cooks and the quality of the food. The best units do everything right. I don't know what your unit's mission is but I'll bet you guys are kicking ass.
Thanks for your service My wife is 2nd LT in USAF on IRR now while in school. Will be a Nurse Practitioner on AD next year sometime. I hope you never have to meet her.
God's blessing to you and your men is that you are tougher and smarter than the enemy. Stay safe and hurry home. Phil

Hey , keep living it, You look good on the side of that hill, Let us know what ever kind of stuff you need in your care packages and I am sure we will make it happen, Am a Vet myself , USAF 1966 to 1970 , and I thank you for your time in the beautiful country of Afganistan,,,,,Sam
Thanks for all the good thought's folks. Always nice to read when I've had a crappy day. As for not having a magazine in the M4 no need when you're hanging around on top of a big ass hill surrounded by Mk19, Ma Duece, and a platoon of 101st infantry
You can tell the guys at the regiment that I and many of your brothers and sisters in the USA and the American military very much appreciate all of your efforts. Running into Australians is always enjoyable too, because we like to hear you talk ... Zeke...thanks for all you do. Get your ass home safe.
Thank you for your unselfish service to and for our country. Pay no attention to the liberal tree huggin weenies and the media that only reports on the negatives instead of the many more positives. The majority of this great country are WITH you, not against you!
Thank you, thank you very much! I will make sure that not only my Regiment mates know, but also let as many guys as I can know that there are people like you still out there. Oh, and we talk normaly........everyone else speak 'funny!' Zeke, let us know how things are when you can. Again stay safe brother. Doc.
