Zeke , Thank you for all you are doing to keep our ass's free back here ! Keep safe and come back home soon ! Retro Jim
Zeke, How long are you going to be there ? If you need anything, please post a list of what items would help your guys in this service to our country. I know you guys are getting magazines and stuff. But what other things would help the days go by ? Thanks for your service to our country.
Take care of yourself and your troops. We are honored that you are one of us, and pray you get your job done safely and soon.
Hi Zeke. Having talked to you in the chat for around 18 months or so. I know we have become friends. This helps a lot to understand how important it is the job all troops do overseas in the quest to have a free and safe world. I think of you guys often. I know how dedicated you are to your joes and all those you come in contact with. Those being from all around the world. Your a special dude doing a special job. Thankyou. It's been a tough few weeks for the Aussies having lost a number of soldiers. But I feel safe in the knowledge that from time to time some of our Aussie soldiers may cross pathes with you Zeke. Thanks again mate Geoff aka whodaky
You know Geoff, that is a great post. Its quite sad but very few Australians serving over there now, and indeed in my time knew that there was any support for us. Makes it hard to send home a mate who gave his life for the service. More than a few of the guys killed recently were mates of mine and I know there is a growing feeling over there of abandonment buy the Australian people. The only news we hear from home is the 'haters' that get write ups in the news, never anyone thanking us. Geoff, I am going to make sure that the Regiment guys know there is still some love for them. After all, we give everything for our country, all we ask is some thanks. Doc. PS, Not dead yet? Ohhhh! You DONT eat the mess food......... Zeke, we still love ya' mate.
Tried to find it on the internet,... but couldn't,... it was a variation of this well known Airborne Theme,... But it had a Skull, and a crossed Knife & Fork,.... it said "Army Cook, Death from Within !"
Thanks so much for what your doing to protect our freedom . My son is also there on FOB Joyce Chosen one group. We hope and pray all you men come home safe and sound and be able to enjoy life as it should be. If there is any thing we can send you please ask and it will be done.
To all the service men and women of all countrys thankyou,Zeke take care and be safe mate, now whats for scrub tonite?..

Zeke...did you realize that over half the college graduates last year have no idea where Afghanistan is...??? And most can't even find Tennessee on a map... But I know where Afghanistan is and where you are... one hell of a long way from home...stay safe...good to hear you're doing well and what you want to. R-
thanks for laying it on the line for our country and for we the gratious people who owe our freedoms to men like yourself. BTW... We the people will do our best to get you a true commander in chief in two years.... hang in there!
Putting a magazine in it wouldn't hurt either. Looks like an improvement over my old "Pez Dispenser" with starlight scope tho. Keep safe
Zeke; We are thankful for your continuing efforts, will be in Clarksville tomorrow, always see 101st personel in and around. If it wasn't for the service men and women this nation would belong to some other country. Living here on the left coast I am daily reminded that there are many who could a da-m about the great work our military is doing 25-8. Our newspapers here are so bad, fish refuse to be wrapped in them. God Bless
