Hi all from New Hampshire. I bought this 1951 Ford F1 in June of 2007. I rode in the truck as a kid. The truck (and myself) is originally from the Midwest. It sat until 2013 after I trailered it from the Midwest to New Hampshire. Here is how it sits October 2018: Truly wouldn’t have been able to get this far without the H.A.M.B. technical posts and wealth of knowledge here. Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Hi & welcome. Nice looking truck. What are your plans with it. Perhaps getting the kids or grand kids to ride in it when young? Jimmie
Still hashing over the long term future plans. I like it as a driver. Flathead motor was rebuilt. I re-wired the whole truck, dual exhausts. Still need to step back and might be tweaking the stance. Sheet metal work and seat belts for my kids is main goal over the winter. Maybe will piece together a build thread if any interest in that.
Getting closer on some metal work. Dropped axle is installed. Few leaves removed from rear. Straight pipes for exhaust sound nice with the Flathead. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Greetings from another NH member and 1951 (also rusty but F5) owner. That's a very sweet F1, having a history with it is also pretty cool. Any chance you could post some audio of the straight pipes? Would love to hear it.
You bet, will get some audio the next time I pull it outside. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Got a little paint work done on running boards I salvaged and threw on some white walls. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
