I have an aftermarket HEI in my SBC...I need to power it up with voltage from the ignition switch...which of the two terminals is the correct one to wire it to the switch?...I'm told that one of the terminals is for a tachometer.
They should be labeled on top (BAT AND TACH). If not, the battery connection would be to the right if viewed from the side, facing the protruding block.
@landseaandair....thanks for your quick reply...there are no markings at all and I just want to be sure.
