Heavy Flake

When did it start being used?
Trying to get some ideas for my shoebox, its trying to be a late 50 early 60s custom. (trying), and some more trying.

My ex is a heavy flake, but she's not late 50's early 60's. She's 40 something and, well, heavy and flakey.

The first ads I'm aware of were sometime about '61 or so.

 

flake was more of a late 60-70 thing

 

so, for ideas do a search here. lots of info posted on metal flake. who cares when it first was used - if you like it do it.
