Need some help locating some bulk headlamp conduit. The kits that I have found from the usual suppliers measure about .550 dia. I have a piece that I have no idea where it came from that is .480 and is what I need to fit into my headlamp buckets without having to modify them. Anyone have and idea where to look? Thanks in advance for any help. Dennis D
I can't offer any direction on where to find that wiring conduit. Only want to suggest that there are other things that look similar, and although meant for entirely different purposes, will still work quite well for that purpose. If it turns out you can't source the exact size auto headlight conduit you need, you could always check out flexible metal hoses for plumbing supply purposes and various conduits meant for home lighting etc. the hardware store has all kinds of stuff you can repurpose if you keep your mind open to the possibilities!
Look at the conduit ferrules, these cap the flex tubes. http://www.macsautoparts.com/ford_model_a/exterior-parts-and-trim.html?p=11 Snyders, or Bob Drake may also have end pieces.
