Do you think this would all apply to stainless headers? I've made my own in stainless, figuring that with all the work involved, i didnt want them rusting, but I dont want a stainless finish.

  3. I love the look of "blued" chrome! It looks like a real race car to me! ;)

I had a set of headers "Jet Hot" ceramic coated one time and they bubbled up and pealed in just 10 miles. Paid 275 bucks, NEVER AGAIN!

That white 57 is 100% badass!

I prefer the used vintage look, sometimes people make cars get too perfect..

My old Pontiac race car had VHT orange headers with black stripes, looked like tiger tails!

With the VHT we're suppose to paint....heat cycle.....re-paint....heat cycle....re-paint...heat cycle???
Do they know how hard it is to get headers on and off a car?! Once I get my new headers on I don't plan on ever taking them off again!!
I guess I could spray white paint on'em and get a nice "drift" of white on the Ford blue paint! Should like REAL nice.
Maybe they think everybody is putting headers on a dragster?!

Is that a BBC in a Chevy II? Curious about the headers. Custom made or mail order?

Not Auto Related , but a product that I used in the Boiler business for years was a High Temp Silver . It was easy to apply , and lasted years on Boiler Stacks , and anything that got hot . Our stack temp was around 800* near the exit to atmosphere . Porter Paint made the product we used , it could be sprayed or brushed on. It had the cheap silver aluminum look until fired then it became a dull silver and was tough as a nail head .
