Join me September 21, 2019 for this inaugural event. This is a charity poker style run for 1942 or older traditional hot rods and customs built in a style 1964 or older. No late 60s show rods, no 70s style fad Ts, no billet street rods, and no art cars. I am trying to keep a tight core group of cars and people to go out and enjoy what our state has to offer. Starting in West Branch, Iowa(hometown of Herbert Hoover, president at the start of the Depression), travelling 125 miles through state parks, past a 19th century prison that is still in use, stopping for lunch at a restaurant that is in a Grant wood painting, and ending in historic Amana, Iowa(which was saved from bankruptcy at the end of prohibition by manufacturing refrigerated beverage coolers) at the Millstream Brauhaus. The entry fee will be $40 and the name of your favorite charity. At the end of the day, best hand will win a small prize and the privilege of drawing the beneficiary charity out of a hat. I will progress this thread with some pictures as the weather and my time allows. Who's in??
