This weekend ladies and gents. Stop buy and see the sights and smells of the Hawkeye Downs swap meet in Cadar Rapids IOWA. MAP FLYER I'll be there selling all the stuff I don't need, I was selling there last year and met a few HAMBer's. Are you Going? Last year there was a Meet and Greet near the stands. If you miss it feel fre to stop by my area and introduce your self. Here's a few pics of me and the wife so you can know us when you see us. Jeff.
I'll be there selling as many T body parts as we can fit into the truck. In a black Dodge pickup, we usually try to get on one of the tracks.
I'm gonna try and be where I was last year. South side of the road straight in from the south entrance. I liked watching all the traffic to get on the track last year. And I was relitivly close to the bathrooms and the food. Jeff

FYI, if any of you guys have a 3spd for a 1948 Chevy 1/2 ton, bring it along I've got a buddy who will be looking for a good replacement. And any '48 Chevy truck parts for that matter. Drive safe. Jeff

If you stop by John "Coolstuff" Wells' booth (Torque Fest, Iron Invasion, DVDs), I have a donation jar set up for a fellow HAMBer that is down on his luck. John has an indoor booth. Thank you to all that can help out.
Sorry Jeff, I didn't get out there today and tomoro we've got our club's Fall Cruise scheduled. The trans I have is probly for a 49-up Chevy truck as it's a column shift model; 47-8's had a floor shift trans. Anyway let me know what else your buddy mite need, thanks.

I was there six hours and didn't get through all of it. Found a pair of '53 Chevy wheel covers for $15 to match the two I already had and a chrome small block oil pan for $20.
My best purchases were a pair of split '32 wishbones for $100, and a pair of Appleton 112 spotlights for $7. Of course they need work, but man, $7!
