I like the stock color idea
I'm on a similar path, my unassembled short block is ready to be picked up, it will have a tripower setup and get factory color, heads still need to be dropped off and it will go in a little full fender coupe too

The very notion of tradition is the definition of conformity.

Auburn Auto Machine. I highly recommend them. Mike is the owner and he knows his stuff. He did my 396 too.

  12. Deuse Chev,
Pretty cool that you got the heads back raw. Around here even if you ask them not to paint the heads they do (unless of course I do them for ya :) ), every shop has their own personal color. One good head guy paints everything blue.

Looks like its taking shape. Good for you.

  13. Ive got a 327 built for my 55. 69 engine with the same heads you have except for the date code. Mine are dated G87 & F267. My engine has a 30_30 cam and a C4B Edelbrock intake manifold & carter carb. The reason I used those heads? They where on the first 55 I ever owned. and I wanted to use a old set of finned Cal Custom stagger bolt valve covers that I bought when I was a kid. I panted my engine bright red. Used Farmall tractor paint.

I think a '32 CHEVY coupe is hot stuff!! And with a detailed 327 and a clutch pedal ( and a hard working co-pilot to boot), you are in tall cotton, my friend! Doesn't get much better than that. Congrats. and post more pics of the car, por favor.
