Saw a 28-29 pickup cab done the reverse way, had a 26-27 T cowl added. Nice looking car, 5 Spokes look nice on it. Bob

Wescott's did a 26-7 T roadster with 28-9 fenders many years ago and probably still do. I have done three 27 steel roadster pickups on Model A chassis but they have all been fenderless. I too like that T sedan body with 28-9 fenders etc.!

I disagree. It has way smoother lines with A fenders

That was the body and fender combination used on those Pro Street T roadsters kits that Total Performance used to do. Just ignore that I said pro street.

Man, I've been eyeing that car for awhile too!
Have to say I'm a little jealous, it looked like a heck of a deal.
Hope it's as nice as it looks. Keep us posted on the progress!

Some of you guys seem to know the car. Is it because you have seen it cruising around in the past or because you have seen it on the Hamb ad? Just curious. Exterminator

Because I saw it on the HAMB is my reason. T/A setup is one vision I had for dad's '27 Tudor. Another man on here ended up with the chassis, I'd love to find a body - less A to build one. Or a comp coupe.

So do you call the car a really late production 27, or a very early 28?

  16. It was as common as an A on a deuce chassis in the '60s.

Cool project! Are you going to shorten the bed? Not that it needs it, but 8" might be a cool look with that wheelbase

  18. One of the first model T/A fender combos I remember was Don Hentzel's roadster pickup done in the early 50's.
Just a great lookin truck, the girl helps too.
