Has anybody converted a 53, 54 chevy 4 door seat to fit a 2 door

Has anybody converted a 53, 54 chevy 4 door front seat to fit a 2 door. The problem is the seat needs to fold forward. The seat i have is missing the springs.

 

You said it, the problem is the four door does not fold forward. I am sure you could figure out a way to make it hinged. Look at some junkyard seats out of a truck, many typically fold forward to access behind the seat. Buy the truck seat and use the parts to make your seat fold forward.

It might be less trouble to just narrow the truck seat to fit your car though?
