Thank you for the notice of his passing. It has been some time since I saw his name in print, but I do recall that he was prominent in the design field. RIP Ray
Harry did the design work on a 40 Merc that Donn Lowe built for the owner of Powermaster, John Babcock. Several of us locals handled different phases of the project. Afterglow was the name.
Sorry to hear this. I loved the way he illustrated the detail aspects of his designs. He was probably the single greatest influence on the early development of my own drawing technique. I also heard somewhere that between his fame and his disability he had become something of a recluse in his later years. It's a pity; I should have liked to have communicated with him.
Huge fan of his style/work. R.I.P. https://www.deansgarage.com/harry-bentley-bradley-part-one/ https://www.deansgarage.com/harry-bentley-bradley-part-2/ I highly recommend you seek out and buy this book if you are a fan, too:
