I always shake hands with fellow Veterans and tell them "thanks". I will never forget about those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Thank the Lord for ALL our Veterans! VA-52 "Knightriders" A6E Intruder squadron. Two WestPacs aboard USS Kittyhawk and USS Carl Vinson AMS2, USN '80-'84
I know this is a six year old quote, but I couldn't have said it better. Thanks to all those that gave and are still giving of themselves for our freedoms.
Crowd was estimated at 50,000 people today at our Remembrance Day ceremony in Ottawa. Lest we forget...................
Semper Fi to all those who served and to those who made the supreme sacrifice. USMC 1966-1968 Viet Nam 1967
12th Nov 2014, 1100Hrs. I hear you say so? Well it is the time our Remembrance day finished, from the 11th hour of the 11th day to the 11th hour of the 12th day. One short day given, one short day I would gladly give the rest of my days to spend with you. My mates, my Brothers who gave so much. My mates that I lament I was not there for in your time of need, to shield your life with mine. A special thought goes out to the closest mate I have ever had. This is only the second year without you here and all I can say is, when my time comes, my friend YOU better fucking RUN! And now to blow my own trumpet, I had this sent to me a little while ago. I may now be just a civvie but rule #3 will never change. Oh! #4.......?........Thank you, Thank you all. Paul (Drunk) 'Doc' Watson.
I'm honored to have served with all you fellow veterans and HAMB members! lets also not forget our friends and family members that pick up the slack when were deployed. AIRBORNE! 362nd Psychological Operations Co.
