Congrats! You're going to love every minute of retirement. I retired 12 years ago - built a T bucket and and just finished a Nailhead powered '34 Ford pickup. Life is real good.
Congratulations, Jack. That's a nice accomplishment. We'll expect regular progress reports to prove you're not just drinking beer and looking at the projects.
Congrats! I retired from Dow Chemical on July 31, 2009 with 34 years of service and can't believe how fast this year has gone by! Retirement is the best job you will ever have! Enjoy and cherish each day. Jim
Congrats Jack!!!!!!!!! I'm thinkin' if every night is Friday night, we should inform the Bud Lite plant!
congrats....made mine final on May 7th of this year. If nothing else, those afternoon naps are now kind of like a religious experience......learn to enjoy them.
Retirement rocks - especially if you're young (or young at heart). I retired when I was 41 and have lived a hot rod life ever since. You're going to have a ball.
I officially retired 5 years ago. I highly recommend it Congratulations on your retirement. Now you will wonder how did I ever work and get anything done on my projects? Afternoon naps are nice also
Someone said, "The worst thing about retirement is that you never get a day off!", but I forget who. In short order you will be wondering how you ever had time to work. Enjoy the good life!
lucky. only 25 more from me. but if I can manage not be fired anymore from teaching (as I was and then promptly rehired) I will be out by 52. WOOT WOOT!
CONGRATS TO ALL that put the time in or have the ability to retire, I been trying to get my old man to retire, but that will never happen...
i did it at 53. Enjoy , i know you will . ( office work is pretty rough ) . a guy once ask me what i do all day . Well, some days i wake up and do what i want & some days i wake up and don't do a damn thing. come to STUCKIN & help me with my 40 chevy. enjoy. "THE BAD THING ABOUT DOING NOTHING IS .... YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED "
