The last year has given all of use many challenges, but I think it's safe to say we made it.

Happy and Healthy New Year to all, and a final toast to all the rodders who took their final ride this past year.

    Hello,

The new year is upon us, but the left overs from last year still linger and hopefully, will end with 2021. The Automobile BRA from the 70s has now turned into a N95 MASK.

Stay safe, follow the rules, and we will all get through this together. We did it in 1968, during one of the most hectic years in USA history. (a foreign war, protests, college uprisings, assassinations, peace marches, civil rights, etc.)

    And the 1968 H3N2 VIRUS

    CDC:
" The 1968 pandemic was caused by an influenza A (H3N2) virus comprised of two genes from an avian influenza A virus, including a new H3 hemagglutinin, but also contained the N2 neuraminidase from the 1957 H2N2 virus. It was first noted in the United States in September 1968. The estimated number of deaths was 1 million worldwide and about 100,000 in the United States. Most excess deaths were in people 65 years and older. The H3N2 virus continues to circulate worldwide as a seasonal influenza A virus."

"Although a vaccine was developed against the virus, it became available only after the pandemic had peaked in many countries. The H3N2 virus that caused the 1968 pandemic is still in circulation today and is considered to be a strain of seasonal influenza."
