I used to love Happy Days. It was a first taste of '50's Americana for me. I even enjoyed it after Fonzie jumped the shark.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jumping_the_shark
I did the promotion for the stage show in the UK and met Mr Winkler Ron Howard said yesterday he would never be involved in a Happy Days movie
Happy days .... A off shoot from " love american style!".. So traditional all around .. Ag came first
it was on tv over here this afternoon,,the episode was when fonzie repaired a hearse for some hoods laundering money via a funeral parlour...young cunningham heads off to stop fonzie entering a warehouse...the car he`s driving is a red 46 ford with widewhites , caps no bumpers...anyone else seen that one
"I even enjoyI even enjoyed it after Fonzie jumped the shark." Thanks for the clarification! I've heard that phase a lot lately!
The first episodes were great,But after they shot all the shows on a stage it lost all the outdoor shots. It was just like all other sitcoms.
I always loved the episode when the fonzie "hopped up" Mr C's 4 door Desoto so richie cunningham could drag race it in a grudge race. Cool as.
and a blower, I think< its been a while since I saw it. Course I saw the episode when it was new, and I was pretty low mileage back then myself.
Is it true that the bike (a Trumpy?) the Fonz rode in the series was the same bike Steve McQueen rode in 'The Great Escape' or is that just an urban myth?
