    Mine A is a '29, so she's still a young 89 year old!

There's an actual date stamped on the cowl/gas tank.

Is that the build date, or just the date the cowl was made?

Here in Australia there is a 90th birthday for the Model A Ford being held at Gulgong in central west New South Wales on the 11th to 13th of May this year. The organisers started 3 years ago and have come up with a good concept. They have arranged the venue which is a whole small town. There are no entry forms. The idea is you and your Model A just turn up and enjoy yourselves. Unfortunately I can't go but I reckon it will be a great run that will have cars coming from all over Australia.

I had also not given this any thought 'til now. Letting it sit in the driveway under 2 feet of snow probably isn't a very respectful observation of such a milestone.

In many ways, it is the Model A, not the Deuce, that is the iconic hot rod. The deuce is cool but way more A's were rodded and still continue to be today.

Sales figures are remarkable, considering 1928-1932 weren't exactly banner years for the American economy.
