Founding Fathers, Thank you for wagering your EVERYTHING by writing and signing the document which articulated John's Locke's notion of what "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness" and declaring the reasons for our Independence from an oppresive government! We modern day HAMBers get it, and we appreciate your assertive brave act of 1776. Happy 4th of July as we modern citizens celebrate our inalienable rights how we see fit. We will go vote in November to help fix our current mess, because we are still that "Shining city upon a hill" the rest of the world attempts to emulate

Amen Brother! Was Red Skelton ahead of his time or what? In this day and age when talk is cheap, we need reminders sometimes as to what Our Pledge really means. Quiet day here, fire danger is high. Please send a thought or prayer out to the 4 Air Force crewmembers that gave their all this week fighting a local wildfire when their C130 went down on a slurry bomber run. On a happier note, doing up some pork country style ribs in the dutch oven. The 4th hit me a bit ago after a weekend on the road. Today I love my family and my country even more than ever. God Bless America!
