The Road Kings have four builds going on this winter. We finished three cars last year a 1955 Chevy Gasser, The Kids Model A Coupe and Bill's Desoto. So this year we started after the Pile up with Hank's '34 Chevy. Then we have Mikes '34 5W, also Rich's '34 3W and Thom's '38 Sedan. So in this thread we will follow along as Hank and the club build his car. Every Saturday this is what we do for a club meeting... Some guys retired or off work help out during the week, but Saturday's is where most of the work happens. Hank had got the body mounted prior to bringing to shop along with motor/trans mounted. No floor in yet. We will start with the shop. 3 3/4" in front laying the A-pillars back, then taking 3" out of the back. Enjoy
This is what its all about, a family with a Car Club problem. Great people getting together every Saturday, working and enjoying great friendships... Very thankful to be a part of it all.
I just bought a '34 Chevy 3W Master coupe. Looking forward to more info on your build. What are you using for a floor? Is there a supplier/manufacturer out there that makes a repop for the Chevy coupes?
