Building a traditional custom 52 Ford. I found these chrome handles, (hopefully photo attached), that would make a great custom grille. The problem is I only have 7 of them and I need about another 10. The other problem is that I don't know what they're from They are star (narrow cross) shaped, with the long side being 7 inches and the short side 2 inches. The short side has a 90 degree bend on each end with screw hole on the back side for mounting. Wondering if anyone has an idea as to what these were originally used for, or better yet, has some laying around that are just like it. thanks. Ron 414-810-9316
Thanks for the responses.. I figured them to be some kind of drawer pulls, now I just need to figure out from what? They must have been somewhat common at some point. I gathered the 7 I have from two swap meets and one flea market. Waiting for my neighbor to return from vacation. He owns a hardware store and might offer some insight.
