  1. interior photo.jpg My 48 Super DeLuxe coupe that I picked up last year.
I don't like cloth interiors, I would have done it differently, but this one is pretty comfortable.

Yes sort of an off white so I guess Ivory works. It is marine grade vinyl. Was fun to do but a lot of work. My next one will be simpler!

P1020757.jpg P1020758.jpg 3ofsue.gif Not fancy but better than the stock cardboard. I also built the T5 shift lever, the dash knobs and the pedal pads. The thing that gets noticed the most are the gauges that I built using a combination of stock and modern guts. I made the gauge faces on my computer to match the stock original color first but then changed them to red to match the truck. There is a digital temp gauge under the face so it looks more or less stock when parked.

01616_2w9Tzrl3g3J_0CI0pO_600x450.jpg not super fancy, and will be doing some changes in the future, but it's comfy and clean. 00S0S_9nzmoB7m0Xl_0CI0pO_600x450.jpg 00V0V_dX510a5gWFO_0CI0pO_600x450.jpg

Thanks for asking. As I mentioned before the interior isn't finished. I will probably re-contour the foam on the seat to make it a little more comfortable and eventually put matching flat vinyl on the doors and kick panels which are now painted flat black. That's it. I have very little invested in the interior except my own time. Making cardboard templates for the panels was tedious, but making templates and cutting the truck mat for the floors was the most difficult. This interior is very low maintenance. I don't worry about it getting dirty or wet. I drive the car almost daily and don't ever put up the top.

  29. Thanks @missysdad1. I'm going to follow your lead on the door panels to start with. Clean and simple, I like it.
