Both vehicles should be back in the garge by now.
Yes... we will be taking the rear end apart first. We will find out what caused this. it had to be drivetrain related. I
I havent called yet as of 7 am but will update as soon as I hear something.
I imagine they are totally exhausted. Hopefully Megan will be out today.
She is a very lucky girl... And by the sounds of it. Matt too is lucky not to hit her during the accident.
Yea.... no problem with the vehicles... This was the the T bucket we built in three months right before the Nationals last year.
This thing had alot of miles on it. I would bet 6000 at least.
It just loosens up some funds for a new winter project.. :)

This morning. I was able to talk to Matt's dad who was at the hospital late into the night. He said she was doing fine and they did have concern over her spleen bleeding only slightly. He said it was remarkable she had no Broken bones only bad cuts. Someone was watching that girl.
When i hear updated info this morning I'll relay that.

I had a chance to met and talk with Megan on Friday at the HAMB meet, she was showing me the car. I was telling her she was hardcore for driving that T and asked her how bad it was. She smiled and she it was no problem, a few bugs and lots of sunshine.

I pray for a speedy recovery

She is truly blessed to have gotten out of that with just cuts and bruises. She is also blessed to have the prayers and best wishes of her extended family on the HAMB. It was my pleasure to meet her in Columbus, and her progress on her truck inspired met to get off the stick and work on mine. My hopes and prayers go out to her for a safe and speedy return to good health. If there is any thing that I can do, DO NOT HESITATE! Dennis UPS

I too heard about it on my way home. That really sucks.

I am glad she didn't get hurt too bad.

As for the heavily medicated part, it will just be a little continuation of the entire weekend for her!

She is a cool chick with a lot of gumption. I'll bet she'll power on through it.

    Wow!:(

I'm glad to hear that everybody's doing "ok", but this still sucks really bad...

I've never met Matt or Megan in person, but I've talked to both of them on the phone and they seem like GREAT people!

I'm really sorry to hear about the cars too... if there's ANYTHING I can do to help, let me know please...

I'm in NO hurry at all for those parts; so whenever you guys are back home and settled in good, give me a call and we'll talk about it then...

Good luck with everything guys, and if there's anything I can do to help you at all, please don't hesitate to call me!

God-speed on the recovery, and thank God for the comparatively minimal injuries.
Parts is parts, but skin & bones are hard to come by.
    Prayer works.

    Good news!
I havent heard from Matt this morning yet but I did hear from two of our group who did. They went down last night with a trailer to pick up both vehicles and talked to Matt this morning.
The vehicles are presently on their way back to ohio.
Megan is doing fine. She had three broken ribs and the spleen is slightly bleeding but they expect it to heal itself. no concern there. Alot of cuts and some bad ones. No news on her release yet.
She is a tough cookie. I admire her spirit in everything she does.
I'm sure she'll be back at it as soon as possible.
Thanks everyone for your concern and prayers!
Does anyone have a pics of this? PJ

    More news.
    Talked to Matt this morning.
Megan will be monitored in the hospital for two or three days because of her spleen damage.
She's madder than a wet hen cause they wont let her eat because she may have to go in for surgery if there is problems. Sounds just like the Megan i know.
i dont know the name of the Louisville hospital she is at. Pj
