It's good you said "winters." I was there this past May. When we left Laguna Beach at noon, it was 79 degrees. When we got to Desert Hot Springs three hours later it was 107 degrees...a little jarring for an East Coast boy. We did see a HAMB friendly car a couple days later in Temecula, right after we survived the sand storm in Desert Hot Springs.
That sounds like our summer temps here in August in Vernon, B.C. The wind blows there for sure but we can live with that. Not the best place for Donald Trump!
