I think my second choice for a shoebox is a Y block. A triple set up with T bird covers
    ? That's just fricking awesome!

Thanks man! I bout the owners manual and the repair manual on eBay which should be here next week. I'm on vacation so I haven't had a chance to really do anything with the car much. I did drive it a few miles up and down the highway and it seems solid. Still having Issues with the choke- don't know how long to keep it out for once the car is running.

Will post back with more info later. I appreciate you guys welcoming me to the group and look forward to getting more info and getting her as perfect as possible.

Stage one complete. Stage two starts when the weather becomes too crappy to drive this thing every day.

I'd like to know how you got the car so low. PM me if you'd like or I can you but I'm getting ready to RE-Do my "Emma Jean" to a mild custom from the '60s and am looking for a way to get 'er lower.

    Thanks

That car is clearly "laying frame" so it's probably airbagged. Buy Fat Man dropped uprights and a big Gambino notch (Jiminez Bros has a nice one too) and you'll have the majority of the hardware. Cut a big notch in the rear floor and move your driveshaft tunnel up a few inches. Simple, huh? You'll have it done in a few hours, LOL.

Made a lot of progress on mine this weekend. Completed my full-flow semi-hidden oil conversion, mounted my fan and generator, stabbed the dizzy, reinstalled the road draft tube and a few other things.

Still need belts, hoses, fluids, throttle linkage, fuel pump and a few other things and she'll be ready to fire.
