Guys, I bought a model A engine & transmission from a fellow in Auburn, WA last year and haven't been able to find economical transportation so far, so I thought I'd see if anybody on here can help me out. He's ready to get it out of his way. I've got a buddy who lives in Parker, CO and he'll be at a show coming up in Loveland and can get it home from there. Anybody from the greater Seattle area headed to Parker or Loveland in the near future? Time isn't an issue for me, but the guy I bought it from would like to see it gone. Here's a photo of it, ready to travel: If you think you might be able to help, either PM me or shoot me an email at dlshady[at]comcast[dot]net Thanks!
I wish I would've known last week. My father-in-law just bought a '70 BSA in Colorado. He drove down from the Auburn area with an empty trailer to pick it up on Monday.
I might be able to put it on the trailer and bring it to Bowling Green. I am going to race there at the NHRR. PM me if that works.
Bump it back up... Nitrodusterron has graciously offered to get it to me from Vancouver, but now it needs a ride from Auburn to Vancouver in the next two weeks. Anybody that can help me out with this?
There's a big auto parts swap meet this weekend in Monroe, WA (north of Seattle). You might want to start another thread asking if anyone can help relay the parts from Auburn to Vancouver? Hopefully someone heading up to the swap meet from the greater Portland/Vancouver area can pick it up while they're heading south on their way home and drop if off with the Tiki Warror.
Hey Dan, I'm about 20 minutes from Loveland. If you want to stash it here until someone can pick it up you are welcome to. Too bad this didn't come up last month. I could have taken it to Dan's RT-56 Meet and Will and Kerry could have taken it to your place. Anyway let me know if there's anything I can do.
