I didn't get a chance to take shots early in the day things were a bit busy in the vendor area where I was selling some stuff but I did get a chance to break away late in the afternoon to grab these pics.
i know what ya mean . Our booth was busy all day , no breaks here . Had to do the pix as they staged. Thanx,
Thanks! I missed a bunch of people. I ended up screen printing some new stuff Friday night so I was only at the hotel for 30 minutes before I cut out. I saw your prints at the auction table. excellent as always!
My philosophy is "Fake it Till ya Make it" and right now I am in the Fake it stage. But thanks. I am learning more every day about lighting and composition.
Nate, I have a couple of other shots of you and your brother. Let me filter through the image again and see if there is another one you might like also.
Cool shots! Thanks for including Big Olds! Nope, that I saw, nor was there anyone else from Michigan there that I know of.
Yeah, I dunno about the fake it part so much, your stuff has a real "painterly" quality to it. Many of the shots remind me of some of Kent Bash's work; the intense blue of the sky contrasting with the color of the rods, showing the clear reflections in the bodies and fenders, and a sort of colorized feel to the overall print. Interesting stuff. Kinky6
