So I thought I might share a "high def" pic with you all. Picture won't load, the file is apparently too large. How can i get you a high def picture without exceding the limitations of the program?????????? Yes, I am a bit computer illiterate!

 

At this stage of the game you don't want or need to post the full sized image file. Make a copy of the image (leaving your original unchanged) and downsize it to something like 640x480 or 800x600 to post here. If your pic is chosen to be included in this project they'll contact you to get a copy of the full-sized image file.

 

Thanks ClayMart. Now I just need my computer tech / wife to show me how to copy to the correct size. At least i can now contribute to the mayhem. btw love your avatar.

recreating the sights and SOUNDS of the past. it was a neat experience! Pebble Beach 2011.

 

These are truely amazing pictures. I cant imagine having to select just 12 out of these tons of perfect pictures. Some of these id love to have framed hanging in my shop

 

I dunno... maybe we need a 'reading comprehension' thread. I swear, Chad is waaay to nice about this shit every year. When the deadline hits he will probably have looked at thousands of pictures.

He wants pictures that speak to you... those pictures are NOT saying "this is my car and I want it in the calendar so I took some pictures in my driveway/garage/mall parking lot."

I love/hate this thread every year. Every year we see some breath taking photography... and of course EVERY year we see somebody who says "this is perfect for the calendar" (but its the wrong format, out of focus, has a late model car in the background and is rolling on Boyd's wheels. But hey, its HIS car and he wants it in the calendar.)

I'm not going to bitch about the vertical/horizontal shit since format is a little loose this year... but come on people... give the man a break.

 

To me it's just like a car show you spend 90% of the time looking at 10% of the truly: inspiring different inovative or nicely done cars that speak to you. The rest is just filler of-course opinions vary and everybody is just trying to enjoy themselves.
