They have the street there DESTROYED! We went for a car show there on Sutter street this last weekend and I'm shocked a lot of people drove on those streets. They are doing some major construction there.

After reading all of it looks like someone needs to make a decision as to where we'll meet. I suggest James, since he started this thread.

Not look'n to High Jack anything, always thought a Sacramento 6 Drive-inn night would be cool with a bunch of car folks and family! Maybe somewhere in the future.

  9. How's Mel's for breakfast? I've only tried their burgers. Brookfields is around the corner from there and they have a bigger parking lot.

Hambers are welcome fo shur! Usually there is a gang of poorboys ect there. Auburn fairgrounds are awsome the show is a mix of cars but the old guys love what we are into so its I think its a good idea. We could all meet up at the show and just walk over to Awful Annies its not far at all and the food is grubbin:D

I'll chime in here to say that I think meeting at Joe Bailon's Blast from the Past is an excellent idea. It's not a very heavly advertised event, but I get an invitation every year. I will scan the registration form tomorrow and post it for everybody.

I can tell you this much, the show will be at the Gold Country fairgrounds in Auburn. Entry fee is $30 or $35 at the door, the public is free. No start time is listed but it's a day show so I would say around 9 AM is show start time. That means registration will be earlier.

By the way, Joe is 73 years old. Great guy and a hall of famer.

I did that last year. fun drive, and down to do it again, dont know if my hamb friendly car will be ready but i'll defenetly take El Tiki up!:D:cool:
I say roll in first cause theres not a lot of parking by awfull annies and you want to roll into the show early to get a good spot on the fair grounds! Its only about a block or so away and its a nice walk.
