Ive owned mine for 29 years now and drive the hell out of it ! drove it to three drag races this year, made a total of 92 passes in it this year alone won all the flathead classes , made it to the last round at the thaw and drove it home . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCd3ExJNlOc http://s31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/chonga311/?action=view¤t=RaceWeek2232008013.flv
I built it with some help from friends and drove it for 14 years before having heart trouble and had to get some cash quick. Nowadays I got a '50 Olds fastback, stickshift with 53,000 actual miles so I'm "Fixing" it! It's now lower, nosed, decked and has the hood louvered. Wolf By the way, if anyone is interested, NO IT"S NOT BAGGED! It stays there all the time!
Yes I own it and drive it. My Dad got it in december of 1953 for christmas and chopped and channeled it. it got parked in his garage in 1964 and did not emerge again until 2004.....I got it and rebuilt it and got it running and driving the 1st of august this year and took my Dad crusing in it for his 81st birthday.......

Pr-she-8 the work it took to compose your response Surfn37! Nice to see a thanks, kinda offset the flame-jobs.... THANKS!
Yes we own it. We have had it for about 5 years. Found in storage. Had been in storage for about 20 years. Rebuilt it in our garage and drive it every chance we get. Pork zartman is under the wheel. It was taken at the willys home run this year. It was the first time he had driven it. He also got to do a parade lap with it at the Mac Tool Nationals at indy. It had been 45 years since he had won with the original filthy forty. Blown and injected 392 hemi. It can make you many years younger riding in it. It is very well loved. Gasser Girl
<--- father / son project, my dad taught me how to properly rebuild a smallblock with this car. its got maybe 3000 miles on it since the rebuild and getting it on the road right before summer started. it's still being driven. i've taken it to school alot, and everybody keeps telling me how cool it is, or asking what year it is. took it to school every day this week so far.
own it, restored it (3 years) and drive it... but it's tucked away in the heated shop till spring, it's too old for this friggin' cold!
