  1. The next challenge is inspired by Mule Farmer's thread:

    http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=129741&highlight=bubble

make it mild or make it wild.. it's up to you.

remember.. only post art you make specifically for this challenge.. this should be a fun one!

the voting will start Feb 3 at noon, so there's plenty of time.

If someone would like to donate a prize that would be great.. if it's related to the topic that would be even better!

    HAVE FUN!

    Question:

This does not specifically, have to have a "Bubble" top? Right? This is more about 60's Custom jobs? Wild and in outer space! Am I correct?

Well...I posted this over the weekend, and then deleted it cause I didnt think it fit the 60's theme.

Then Nate's post got me going, Thanks Mister! :D

I plan on building this car in the future, it is just sitting in my Dads Junkyard rusting away! :(

Cool Dude! I like the Cyclops version! :D

  12. No way man, that's perfect! After the Muntz project I wanted to do something that was wide open.. so the only criteria is that it has to be something that might have showed up at a carshow in the early 60's. It could be a wild bubbletop or a crazy T.. but it could be pretty mild too.. whatever gets you going!

  13. tap tap.. is this thing on?

I'm trying to come up with something. I'm not used to 60s showcars. I need to find more examples or something.

Any of you remember "Cellophane/Saran wrap" (thanks Dino) paint jobs?

My Pop did tons of motorcycle tanks and Custom cars with Cellophane plastic! The earliest I remember is around mid sixties and early seventies. My Mom was always mad at Dad for raiding her Cellophane drawer! :)

This "A" has the top section painted with "Cellophane" and the bottom is Emerald Dark Green! Front grill is like an early racer surround with the headlights molded into the grill! Windshield? Don't need no stinkin' Windshield! :D Just kiddin' the windshield will be hidden in the roof, hit a switch and it pops into place! Not sure about wheels yet, I guess they work! Custom headers without mufflers!

Oh by the way...this one is not done yet! But really, are they ever done? :D

Another fun Challenge! Keep on postin', Dudes!
