I enjoyed being part of the HAMB model T coupe Club thread, and since I also own a model A tudor and figured that we model A tudor owners are such a big group but mostly forgotten, I was hoping to see a big show of strength and variety of builds.

    POST YOUR PIC'S
Lets tell the site what we run in them also.

So here I go this is mine.

289 windsor V8 with C4 tranny and 1952 flathead ford diff and 4 bar suspension all round.

  3. Love to join this.

Here is my Sedan, built by Boones here on the HAMB. Thankfully I am now the proud owner.

This is in front of the Fleetwood coach building factory.

    Runs a 327 SBC with 6 97s, turbo 350 trans.

Here is my latest project heading home for a start one day soon.
29 Tudor, not sure about its running gear yet.

The model A Tudor is one of the most popular and versatile bodies ever built by Ford.

I have seen them converted into stretch limo's, chopped and channelled, rat rodded, simple resto or stylish full fendered hot rods.

Others with innovation have shortend them into 5 window pickup cabs, or just moved the whole back right up into a 3 window pickup cab.

And dont forget the panel van.

I read a thread suggesting a tudor was converted to a phaeton.

They make a decent family hot rod in there natural form and give us tall guys heaps of leg room when chopped and channelled.

I 'd be willing to bet that there is no other Ford body style that has been so used, abused and pampered yet still remains so under rated by a lot of folks.

    KEEP EM COMIN!

  16. No pics yet, but will come soon.
Have a 28 tudor body that is chopped 3" and will be channeled the depth of the chassis, when I find a chassis. I have a 34 front end fitted with split bones, reversed spring eyes and 47-48 hydraulics, and the beam is being dropped next week.
Mill is C59A, mostly a stocker, dressed with a twin carb manifold and twin exhaust.
Wheels are 16" wires, with 5.25 and 7.50 blackwalls, ribbed trim rings and '35 caps.
At this stage I'm still looking for a chassis, gearbox and diff, hence no mockup pics yet.
As with Dreadman's build, I'm picking this is "the one", the last one I'll build.

Here's my '30 Tudor (Built by George Blackburn, Southern Illinois).
It has a 1957 283 that's been bored and then stroked with a 327 small journal crank to make 316 cu.in's. The 2 four barrel carb's are 1950's Carter WCFB's on an original GM dual-quad intake. The cam is a big solid-lifter 'circle track' racing type grind. It's backed up by a Muncie M-21 4-speed and Dodge 8 3/4" rear axle. All of this is sitting on an original '32 chassis that's been boxed and has new steel tube cross members. There's no interior at all yet; that'll be a future project. I just finished up building a whole new exhaust system from the Corvette 2.5" outlet ram's horn manifolds on back. I put cut-outs halfway through the system (after the Brockman steel-packs, but before the 2nd set of mufflers) for when I want it to be even louder.
