I recieved these Halibrand parts from an old friend; drum brakes, spool, grimy. I think I have most parts, except good bearings and housings.

There must be great ID people on this forum.

So which housings for a Model A?
Best place to get parts, bearings, etc?
Looks traditional, is it worth it?

    Any help would be appreciated.

As Pete said, V8 Halibrand center. The rear cover says Culver City, that's the early one. The open drive is a home made unit. The hubs are not a matched pair.
You need to get that thing apart, clean it up and lay out all the parts you have.
I would not run a spool on the street.
You cannot use Model A axle trumpets with the V8 center.
    All the bearings are available.
You can upgrade in several areas.
    Yes, it's worth it!!!!!
