What's the difference between the decklid the car had, and the Sedan decklid?

I really like the new profile of the car. That roof is looooong! Looks killer.
How are you going to handle the side glass?

and love the taillights too!

 

The difference between decklids is about 7" in length. Havent got to the side glass yet but the plan is the door will close against a piece of rubber an rear quarter will roll up into a channel like the origional hardtop did.

 

Looks awesome, all your hard work has paid off. One of the most bitchin 54s ever built.

 

I don't get it, you went backwards from the way more stylish and expensive hardtop to a sedan, why not start with a sedan in the first place?
It's your car, I like the way it looks, it's interesting but I woulda much rather have had a hardtop when I found my 54 Chevy 150 sedan.
