Wait a minute MAC your not telling the whole story Hornets have run a12.42 45 46 47 48 51 witha average speed on 4 of the runs of 107.22 But more interesting was the 60 ft times for the year 1.826 with a best of 1.72 not to bad for restrictor tire raceing all of this was done with a intake manifold made out inch /half square tube and weld Ls and home made headers and carbs out of the core box at napa CONGRATS on your 12/43 /107 keep up the good work

Speaking of tires, what size/brand/style are you guys running?

    How are they holding up?

Do they get better with wear? ...or is the tune-up on the car getting better?

back in the day, we used gasoline and clorox on the slicks made them stickey. seems like that would be ok .

You will be sorry, like Larry said 11.99 is what we are certified to run with the saftey equipment we got. When we start going faster than that then more safety equip the tracks will make us run.
If thats the case you might as well build an altered and not a HA/GR.
