Congrats to both of you.... Those are awesome times/speeds. Judging by the pics, Its too high dollar for me already...
Wait a minute MAC your not telling the whole story Hornets have run a12.42 45 46 47 48 51 witha average speed on 4 of the runs of 107.22 But more interesting was the 60 ft times for the year 1.826 with a best of 1.72 not to bad for restrictor tire raceing all of this was done with a intake manifold made out inch /half square tube and weld Ls and home made headers and carbs out of the core box at napa CONGRATS on your 12/43 /107 keep up the good work
Speaking of tires, what size/brand/style are you guys running? How are they holding up? Do they get better with wear? ...or is the tune-up on the car getting better?
Coker 6 inch wide 29 inch tall no wear to speak of harder than a whores heart tune up is getting better tires vht control what you run on any given day
Thanks Larry, My hat is off to you and your hornets pal . This is what hot rodding is supposed to be. Great looking car as well. My congrats to you all Don
You dudes are making it harder on us that are building a new car! No one has said who won the race, the best time or fastest mph??
back in the day, we used gasoline and clorox on the slicks made them stickey. seems like that would be ok .
ATTENTION!! ATTENTION!!! Within the next year there will be HA/GR with an 11 second timeslip. Anyone want to bet against it? Frank
You will be sorry, like Larry said 11.99 is what we are certified to run with the saftey equipment we got. When we start going faster than that then more safety equip the tracks will make us run. If thats the case you might as well build an altered and not a HA/GR.
Take off a carb add weight slowthem back down wouldnt it be neat to have 16 cars running inthe low 12s you should like that MAC as quick asyou are on the lights
