A friend is trying to post on a thread but can’t, he noticed it says he’s a guest?

Does this mean something? Does it limit his abilities?

It means something has gone wrong with his log-in and the system does not recognize that he is a valid user. He should log in again. If he can't log in, he'll need to email an admin for help.

As a guest you can't post, search who...does that anyways...:p...just kidding. Did he perhaps get the password wrong. Maybe a reboot of the computer and try a sign in again.

The sign in is case sensitive as in Upper case and lower case.

Tell them when he/she gets their name and password correct to write it down so as not to get it wrong.

Cool, it kicks you out if you didn't click the remember me box too. Or the computer system at home updates and looses all of it's saved log in settings where it automatically logs you on.
