This picture might stir a little memory for your Dad.
Taken in 1978, at the Cloumbus Nat's. I still feel proud to have meet both Andy and Lil John Buttera on the same day and had my picture took with them.
This is also the Nationals that I bought my Center Door.

    Terri,

I have been a SF Bay Area car guy since 1970. I remember Andy's Instant T and Champion Speed Shop, and your dad and Cubby. Didn't really meet your dad until he spun off the tire shop in Colma (I still buy all my tires there).
I've lived in South San Francisco since 1983 and can honestly say that Roy and the hot rod shop are a special part of our city and an asset to the community. I still get a rush when I drive by Roy's and see the collection of classic vehicles parked out in front.

Thanks again for sharing the pictures and memories with all of us on the HAMB, and tell Roy we're looking forward to the open house in a couple of weeks!

    Cheers, Ken

This place just keeps getting better all the time. Welcome aboard, and hope to hear from you often.
I had the pleasure of meeting your brother Roy last Summer at the State Line Casino in Wendover during Speedweek. What a genuinely warm hearted guy. We had a good laugh about the TV show they did at his shop, that didn't take off because there was no drama, they met all their deadlines, and all the crew got along like family.
