A buddy of mine had his '35 Ford grill smashed by his wife's SUV (SUV - 1 / '35 Ford - 0). He has suggested that I put a hoop style grill guard on my '35 Ford pickup to protect the grill. However, I don't think it will look right on my pickup. Thoughts? I would hate to spend the $100 for a part that I would end up not using. Anyone using one of these?

I dunno but I think if we're talking SUV's here, you'd end up with a bent grille guard AND a bent grille. It looks fine as it is.
