Bought my '55 chevy at age 13 in '75; still have it today. Grew up reading the Felson 'Hot Rod' books from the old school library - didn't realize I'd already missed that era, still searching for it today. Wrench on a minisprint for my kid while I still can, before he grows up and on to other things. Spent the 90's starting and running the Ohio Valley Dwarf Car Association - if I couldn't be a part of the old coupe racing scene, at least I could try to honor it, got to meet a lot of my childhood heros discussed on these pages. Keep an old Kurtiz quarter midget in the garage as my next project since I can't afford the old midget project I'd really rather do. Long time lurker on the HAMB, love the midget, sprint, stock car and National Trails Dragstrip threads, thought I knew alot about area racing, amazed at how much you can learn from the old pictures.
